Texas is not just a place with a lot of oil and the Alamo. It is more than the Lone Star State. Texas has great steaks and cattle, but it also has students who are struggling to fund their college careers. In fact, sometimes, scholarships are the only way for some students will be able to afford to pay for their college educations. This means that to get to the point that students are eligible for more in federal student loans, which they must manage to pay for the first two years first. This can create quite a conundrum without scholarships. Very often, students will find that different states will offer scholarships that are not offered to students or residents in any other state. In the state of Texas this is true like it is for anywhere else.
