The goal of the Master of Science in information technology is designed to allows professionals already working in management positions to enhance their skills in the information technology field to become more effective at incorporating technology and information systems into the business aspects of management. The graduates of the program will have a greater level of confidence and understanding in various aspects of information use in management and businesses.
Classes in the program will include basic and advanced courses in information systems and design, information technology and emerging technologies, ethical and legal issues in using information systems in business and the management of information within the business. Students will take programs in networks and networking security, wireless networking, telecommunication systems in the workplace and evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness of current and existing information systems.
