Stockbrokers, market analysis, economic analysis, risk managers and financial planners are all positions that a graduate of the Master of Business Administration in strategy and economics can enter into after completion of the course of study. While being theoretical in nature, the applications in assignments and projects allow students to work with actual business case studies in learning effective economic strategies in global and local markets. Emphasis is placed on research, sound decision making and application of a strategic approach to financial management and planning within businesses and corporations.
Students will complete courses in strategic market analysis and evaluation, long and short term strategic planning, micro and macroeconomics, global markets and advanced financial management and investments. Courses on acquisition and contract management, politics, technology and the impact of global technology on business and financial decisions will all be addressed throughout the course of study.
