While general in scope and nature, the Master of Business Administration in leadership program equips students with the skills that they need to assume senior and advanced management and leadership roles within small or large companies, international businesses, or nonprofit or government agencies and organizations. Students will gain a strong foundation in decision making, goal setting and strategic planning for both short and long term management decisions. Emphasis will be placed on learning different leadership styles and roles as well as how to work effectively within teams, companies and organizations.
Classes in the program will study leadership styles and functions, conflict resolution, negotiation and communication, business ethics and legal considerations in leadership, financial planning and management as well as human resources and leadership and organizational structure and management decision making. Graduates may choose to specialize in one aspect of business leadership or they may choose courses that are broader in scope.
