The program of study in a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on financial analysis will prepare students to earn a CFA or Chartered Financial Analyst. This is completed through the MBA program plus and additional examination upon completion of the program of study. Students completing the degree and the subsequent CFA exam will be well prepared to work as portfolio management professionals, in risk assessment and management, as financial advisors or as senior level managers within financial departments.
Classes in the MBA in financial analysis program will include topics in advanced portfolio management, risk assessment, market analysis, data collection and research, international business and markets as well as financial statement management and reporting. Graduates will be able to work in financial institutes, businesses, government agencies and even as private consultants to individuals. Emphasis will be placed on the ethical and legal issues with regards to finance management and financial management.
