Graduates of a course of study in the Master of Science in organizational leadership program are typically moving into upper levels of administration and leadership in industry, military positions, political office or corporations. The goal of the program is to have students understand the various types of leadership and organizational styles, the impact of the various styles, and how to more effectively communicate, problem solve and make decisions.
Various courses in the Master of Science in organizational leadership will help students hone their skills as communicators, leaders and decision makers. Courses on mentoring, leadership strategy, conflict resolution, decision making and leadership integration will form the core of the course. Other topics such as cultural impact on leadership, coaching and working with diverse groups will also be completed in the program.
