The Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management will allow students to work in entry level positions in human resource departments, as staffing recruiters or as professional development coordinators or trainers. Graduates also have the option to continue with their education in this specialization, working into upper level management positions or even working as private consultants or project coordinators in human resource departments.
Classes will include topics such as compensation and benefits, legal and ethical issues in human resource management, operational management, finances and planning, and organizational structure and human behavior. Courses in team building, leadership and communication will be included in the Bachelor of Science in human resource management. Throughout the course of study students will learn the current trends in technology and information systems that are used in human resource record keeping and information systems.
