In order to work in human resources management, one must be able to lead others, track projects and budgets, understand how different areas within human resources operates, and be able to motivate employees when necessary. Possessing strong leadership abilities, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and being able to communicate with different groups of people are essential for this position. Students will learn these skills and much more while earning their degree from this program. Human resources helps employees who have work-related issues, maintains health benefits and compensation information, and works with managers and others to provide a safe work environment.
