Those who earn a degree in operations management will be able to find employment in various industries overseeing production, projects, and quality assurance. Manufacturing, shipping, and receiving companies need those with leadership skills, motivation skills, and communication skills in order to manage small and large groups on and off the production floor. A career in operations management requires the knowledge of manufacturing and production procedures, company expectations, and employee outputs.
