Working in healthcare administration requires those who are able to analyze data, budget for care and equipment that a hospital may need, and lead others in team projects. There are many positions available for those who want to work in healthcare administration regardless of whether they have medical training or not. Students will learn the basics of business administration, computer applications, and how to create and analyze budgets.
