Keiser University was founded in 1977 by the Keiser family. The family felt the community needed an educational facility that provided quality career education with hands-on orientation. Keiser University has twelve locations in Florida, including the main campus in Fort Lauderdale. The other campuses are located in Daytona Beach, Melbourne, Sarasota, Orlando, Tallahassee, Lakeland, Miami, Jacksonville, Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.
Keiser’s scheduling allows students to complete an Associate's degree in as little as 18-24 months and a Bachelor's degree in 41 months. Students sign up to take just one course at a time for as long as five hours a day, which helps with information retention and hands-on learning. The school also boasts small class sizes, modern facilities, highly trained faculty, career placement assistance, and several degree levels of programs.
Keiser University offers online Bachelor degrees, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Science degree programs which are earned through taking classes with the college’s online campus program. Students will have access to 24/7 tech support, chat rooms, electronic bulletin boards, e-mail, electronic libraries and online tests and grading. Courses are available in majors including Accounting, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security and more.
