Students will gain a complete understanding of the various aspects of running or managing a business within the tourism and hospitality industry from all aspects. Inventory control, supply and purchasing, pricing and financial management of assets will all be key components of the training.
One of the most critical aspects of the tourism and hospitality training and degree will be the importance of effective communication and decision making within the industry. Customer satisfaction will be enhanced through appropriate use of these skills and they are considered the cornerstone of the industry. Conflict resolution, working with various groups and management teams, as well as reporting and organizing staff is addressed through practical assignments and projects. When students graduate from the course they will be prepared to handle challenging situations in a professional fashion that keeps customers happy as well as supports staff.
