Graduates of the MBA for physicians program will have the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage their own offices, health care management and administration, as well as understand the legal and regulatory issues regarding having their own private offices or treatment facilities. Basically doctors completing this degree will be seeking to improve and enhance their business skills as they related to the health care industry, rather than focusing on primary health care issues. Classes will be individualized to match the career goals and work environments of the doctor, while also providing a strong business background in health care issues. Some students may choose to focus on a particular topic such as information technology, staffing issues or financial aspects of health care management, and this can all be incorporated into the MBA degree.
