Distance Learning & Online Justice Administration Degree Programs
Graduates from a degree in justice administration may be planning to work within court systems as court reporters, county or district clerks, judge's assistants or as paralegals or law enforcement officers or agents. The justice administration degree is often used as a foundation for others choosing to continue on with their education to pursue careers as attorneys, judges, justice of the peace, in management positions within large court systems. Students wishing to pursue management positions in private security and law enforcement agencies or in corrections may also choose to start their educational career with a degree in justice administration.
Justice administration degrees are typically offered at either an associate or bachelor level, with students then specializing and narrowing the field of study when proceeding to master or higher level programs. Legal terminology and document preparation is usually a course that is of interest to most students, but will be a definite requirement for those wishing to continue on as lawyers, judges or paralegals.
