Distance Learning & Online Health & Medical Sciences Degree Programs

Programs specific to medical services include MRI and x-ray technicians, surgical technicians, diagnostic medical services and training, information technology in healthcare, billing and coding, insurance processing, quality control professionals, office and clinical manager training, ethical and legal considerations in health and medical services, laboratory and clinical technician training as well as alternative medicines, counseling and even therapies can all fall under the courses that could be completed in a health and medical science degree.
Students should be aware that many of the careers in the medical or healthcare sector do require specific credentialing after completing the educational component of the program to work within the field. Courses that require credentialing will prepare the student for the exam and licensure requirements as part of the program.
