Business
If you have a strong interest in the business world, and things like statistics and accounting get you excited, an online business degree is right up your ally. Everyone knows the Internet has changed the way business' are run, and it will continue to change and evolve indefinitely every year. This type of rapid change calls for people who have a strong understanding of how things get done behind the scenes, and knows how to implement new ideas when the need arises. Along with understanding individual and interpersonal motives and behaviors, you will find these are the first step to understanding business as a whole. Serious skill sets like this can be taught with the right training, and by receiving your Bachelor's or Master's in Business you will be ahead of the curve when the time for a career change, or an advancement opportunity presents itself. Covering everything from marketing to management, to finance and communication, a business degree requires a clear goal and a strong commitment. Creating and maintaining a successful business has always been a challenge, and in the world of modern business with its ever-advancing technology, you need a stronger knowledge base then ever to set out on.
A business degree can provide that knowledge, either on an undergraduate or graduate level, which you can expect to greatly increase your job opportunities and salary potential. Programs like these teach students about the most up-to-date business practices and show them how to lead and organize employees and manage projects. The study of business and all the facets it entails is a very broad education undertaking, and the time it takes to complete a program like this depends on a few choices you have to make before beginning. If you have previous full-time working or supervisor experience and you are returning for your Master's, you can expect to complete a normal business program in one year full-time, two years part-time. If you are in an undergraduate program a full-time course normally runs around three years, with a part-time undertaking coming in around five. Management degrees provide a very broad education in business management practices and can be pursued on there own or combined with more practical or specialized study.
The up side to all this work and schooling is that the term "Work hard - Play hard" holds true here more then anywhere. Since business is such a broad term, and can cover so many different careers an exact salary base is hard to come by, but an average salary is thought to be anywhere from 60k - 100k. per year. A generous salary along with the promise of continual advancement makes a degree in Business ideal for anyone with the drive and determination to make it to the top of there desired career.
