The Master of Business Administration in human resource management is designed to allow students that already have a bachelor degree in human resource management or a related field to continue on with their education and advance their skills and knowledge. Graduates of the program may find employment as staffing consultants, directors of human resource departments, managers of staff benefits or compensation programs, or as individuals working as consultants or employment coordinators for various companies or agencies.
Throughout the program of study emphasis will be placed on the legal, regulatory and ethical issues in human resource management, as well as the considerations for developing benefit packages, compensation and policies for human resource management. Students will have the opportunity to study different models of human resources and staffing management used in various types of industries and companies. Courses in developing effective short and long term plans for human resources, crisis response on the job, as well as working with downsizing in the company are all included in the program.
