Technology management includes the coordination, implementation and evaluation of various types of technology within a business or company. A Master of Business Administration in technology goes beyond just the basics, allowing students to develop strong business management strategies in addition to expanding their ability to work with technology. Not specifically a technologies course of study, the Master of Business Administration focuses on problem solving, critical thinking and strategic planning as it applies to the management of technology in a workplace.
Courses in the program of study include critical thinking, design and evaluation of information systems, technology management and training, foundations of problem based learning, leadership and effective communication skills. Students will also be encouraged to develop an understanding of finances and strategic planning as well as management of personnel and working as team builders and leaders within the business or company.
