Graduates of a Master of Business Administration in finance are qualified for most senior level management positions in most companies, business and industry. The highly practical combination of a business degree and a specialization in finance make students in the program capable of making informed and sound business decisions as well as planning for the growth and development of the company. Finance degrees will include basic courses in accounting but some students may also choose to continue on to more advanced practice and principle courses.
In addition to accounting students will complete studies in business management, organizational structure and management, human resource management, ethical and legal issues in management and financial planning and risk assessment. Effective communication, technology in business and leadership skills and strategies will also be addressed during the program. Advanced classes in research, decision making and team building make up the rest of the program.
