Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in marketing management are well prepared for entry level management positions within marketing departments of small and large business, corporations and industries. In addition they may find work in charitable organizations, nonprofit agencies or in public administration or public relations positions. Students will examine all types of business from self-owned companies to large global business leaders to understand how various marketing strategies can be effective in various environments within the business field.
Classes in the BS in marketing management course will focus on the practical applications of marketing, while still providing a strong theoretical foundation. Classes in market analysis, advertising and sales, management of personnel, strategic planning, supply chain management, sales and promotions and decision making and leadership skills will all be included. Classes on e-commerce, web applications and online technology in sales and marketing will also be addressed throughout the classes.
