For many local, national and international companies database management has become more and more critical as technology and data collection increases. The demand for professionals with training through a Bachelor of Science in information technology with a focus in databases continues to increase to match the demand from companies and businesses. Database management involves a strong foundation in computer knowledge, data storage, data retrieval and handling, as well as issues with regards to security, information access and management.
