Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in information technology will have the opportunity to move into entry level management positions as well as work as leaders in projects and committees within businesses to implement the most up to date information technology. The program is designed to allow students to learn to develop the skills needed to analyze and evaluate the information technology systems currently in use. Problem solving, troubleshooting and monitoring information systems and information technology resources are also addressed in the program.
The Bachelor of Science in information technology will include classes in networking security, operation systems and applications, computer languages and computer programming, software applications and operating systems as well as databases and database management. E-business and online security issues will be a key component of the program as will general business management classes and technology application in business management.
