The Bachelor of Science in human services will take twenty-four months to complete and will allows the graduate to work as part of a team set to provide support and assistance to people within the community and employees in business settings. Students may focus on areas of social work, public management and administration, adult and family development and also social program development and human services policy development. A major focus within the program will be the ethical and legal considerations in providing human services and working with the public.
Students in the program will focus on the use of various evaluative and analytical skills in developing the most effective programs and human service systems. Emphasis will be placed on leadership and team building, effective communication and the ability to make effective decisions based on research and effective data collection methods.
