The Bachelor of Science in health information management from the University of Cincinnati will give graduates the theory and skills needed to work in the dynamic and rapidly evolving world of information systems. The graduate will also have a strong foundation in management skills in addition to the technology component of the class. Ethical and legal considerations in information management as well as security issues with online transfer or network transfer of information, database management and storage of information will all be included in the course of study.
