Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in global business and public policy from the University of Maryland University College will find careers in international business, global companies, government agencies and various multinational agencies or organizations. The goal of the program is to prepare graduates with a history in global business and public policy as well as to monitor and assess current trends in international markets and businesses.
Classes in the program will include legal issues in global business and public policy, history of development of policies, cultural issues and multicultural considerations in business. Students will learn about the ethical factors and responsibilities in working in a global marketplace, as well as how political issues, marketplace trends and public policy can influence global business. Marketing, management, and financial issues in business will be addressed throughout the program.
