There are a wide variety of classes offered in the Bachelor of Science in finance including topics such as ethical issues in finance, planning and management of finances, reporting and accounting in finance and risk assessment and management. In addition there are classes on investment portfolios, financial planning for nonprofit and government agencies, and international and global market management and investment. Classes on contracts and acquisitions as well as short and long term financial planning will be included throughout the program.
Graduates of the program will find employment as financial planners, financial managers, portfolio managers and investment consultants for businesses. Students may also specialize in areas such as e-business, risk assessment and analysis, taxation, auditing and global and international markets and finance as well as legal issues in finance. Portfolio management and financial planning will also be included in the courses.
