The Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a focus on math will prepare students with the advanced theory and methodologies needed to be an elementary math teacher or math resource teacher for students from grade six down to kindergarten. The emphasis is on making math learning fun for students and motivating them to be math learners, even for students with different learning abilities or special needs. Technology in the math classroom will be a large area of focus in the program, with students using various software, multimedia and presentation styles to keep students interested in learning math.
