The Bachelor of Science in computer information systems degree will provide students with the skills and information that they need to manage, analyze and evaluate information systems Students in the program will learn about the various programming languages used in business today, as well as the computer applications and information management systems currently in use. The courses will also look towards the future, monitoring current trends in information systems and information technology in the business world.
Courses in the Bachelor of Science in computer information systems will include topics such as information system management, security and risk analysis in using information systems, database management and administration, system analysis, evaluation and troubleshooting of information systems in business applications. Students will gain experience in thinking logically and sequentially through issues with technology troubleshooting and problem solving.
