Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in business management program from Western Governors University will be prepared for a career in management in any type of company, industry, government agencies or nonprofit organization. Student will also learn the various differences between managing a small or large business, how to develop effective leadership skills and how to implement decision making processes that are effective and research based.
Since the course is designed to provide a strong management foundation students will complete courses in all areas of administration including human resource development and management, accounting and financial planning for companies and businesses, marketing and sales and strategic planning. Through all courses students will use the most current technology, software programs and computer applications that apply to business management.
