Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice – Correctional Administration from Anthem College

For students who want to work in criminal justice, but who don’t want to work as a crime scene investigator or lab technician, positions within corrections administration are available. Students will learn how the administrative side of criminal justice works by working for the courts, corrections, halfway homes, and other positions that require additional assistance. Courses in psychology, criminal administration, corrections, project management, and human resources will teach students the skills needed to work in these positions.

This degree program will also give students a foundation in criminal law, human behavior, and computer applications. Students will also learn how to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to perform various tasks in their job. While most positions will not require students to work directly with criminal offenders, some positions are available that have minimum interaction. Students who want to make a difference in the lives of others should consider these positions.
