After students have completed an Associates degree in technology, they are eligible to advance through to the Bachelor of Science in technical management program. This series of courses builds on the existing knowledge of technology applications and moves more into the business management aspects of information technology and information systems for business, industry, nonprofit organizations and agencies.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in technology management will complete classes in computerized accounting programs, hardware and software evaluation and assessment, networking and local area networks (LANs), routers, switches, bridges and other technology devices, computers, faxes, telecommunication systems as well as development and implementation of technology within a business. Emphasis will be on thinking logically and creatively as well as troubleshooting and effective planning within technology departments and systems.
