Developing communication skills that can be used with employees, customers, and others is the main objective of this degree program. Students will learn how to use skills taught to successfully lead teams on projects and understand how to design and budget projects upcoming projects. Communication managers need to be able to assess situations accurately, which means being able to listen, communicate, and using the problems solving skills they have been taught to solve issues and conflict that may arise.
Courses include technical writing, conflict resolution, business ethics, organizational leadership and training, and business math. Students will learn how to become better leaders so they will be able to motivate others, complete projects on schedule, and handle any issues that may come up during the project. These skills can be applied to many industries and many departments within a company or organization.
