Berkeley College Online

Berkeley College’s primary objective is to achieve excellence. This translates into academic programs that attempt to balance preparation in the classroom with professional training and real world experience. The college also makes it a point to help those without sufficient financial means to find a way to attend college, whether through scholarships, grants or loans so that students are drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The college was founded in 1931, and today boasts seven locations in New York and New Jersey, as well as an online campus where students can pursue majors primarily related to business. The school brings in students from 29 states and 112 foreign countries, creating a diverse learning environment and the potential to learn and work with people from all over the globe. Students can pursue majors in a variety of fields including everything from fashion marketing to network management, as well as various programs in professional training.

Berkeley College offers a variety of programs, but it is best known for its business education programs. The college attempts to help future businessmen and women get a leg up on employment by maintaining a close relationship with the business community. Degree programs can include professional internships and many opportunities to network, and curriculums and college programs are shaped by recommendations from the business community to help ensure that they are up to date and relevant.

Students attending Berkeley College online will have the ability to gain valuable work experience while still working towards a future degree in their spare time. Online students receive the same curriculum and education as those in the regular classroom setting, and instructor, classmates and advisors are on hand if there are any questions or concerns. Online courses can be taken in several majors working towards either a Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
